- One of our department professors, Assoc. Prof. Ekmel Geçer’s book, titled Intercultural Communication, was published by TRT Publications.

The book was written to strengthen the emphasis on the importance of the experience and knowledge we gain from different cultures, to evaluate the effect of intercultural communication and psychology on establishing a world with the "other", and to produce new and more useful meanings.
Due to the importance of culture, communication and intercultural communication's relationship with psychological capital, the relationship between psychology and intercultural communication is mentioned in the work. In addition, discussions on social psychology such as cultural psychology, some social environment-based disorders, social influence and compliance were examined, and a new table of "psycho-cultural behavioral disorders" was tried to be created in the context of psychological disorders.
